One of the stars of the popup.lt event cycle – “Smart Pop Up” – combines fashion, design, art, music, and the hustle and bustle of the city in a unique space. It’s all about sustainable choices, consumer awareness, future trends, creativity, optimism, and community spirit.

Lukiškės prison 2.0 is a cultural heritage object that won the 2021 Cultural Phenomenon Award at the LRT Awards. “8 Days A Week”, the authors of this conversion, take care of its content and vibe.

So it’s natural that once popup.lt and Lukiškės prison 2.0 join forces – a real celebration of music, design, and art awaits you. We can’t wait to tell you all the details, so save the date now.

During the event, we will talk about sustainability, conscious consumption, future trends, entrepreneurship, and creativity. However, making use of the unique spaces in the Lukiškės prison complex, we will convey these topics in different formats. Designers will present their creations in public exhibition spaces for the first time, artists will be able to exhibit their works in the impressive church hall, and a separate area will be dedicated to a discussion platform.

The four-day “Smart Pop Up” event will stand out with its curated selection of design, fashion, cosmetics, food, and unique atmosphere.

The quality of represented design objects and other areas of creativity is one of the main values at popup.lt. Therefore, just like on our website, only the works of authentic and sustainable brands will be presented during the event. Together at the event, we can foster community spirit, which is always at the center of our work. The high-quality music played at the event, along with various bars and food places around the space, will create a peaceful atmosphere for both the participants and guests to enjoy the event.

Over 40 of the most relevant local brands will invite you to the first-ever open courtyards, which you will be able to see through a different lens. Here you will also meet Ukrainian brands residing in Lithuania.

If you are an authentic emerging or already known local brand of art, fashion, jewelry, interior, perfumery, cosmetics, or food, consistent in your values, striving for sustainability, and you’d like to become a part of “Smart Pop Up” – you are invited to apply to at popup.lt/dizaineriams

When creating utopias or ideals, we think about the future, where we imagine not only a different way of life but also new technologies that shape our environment and, of course, the things that surround us. If we want a better future and design innovation, we have to spend more time on utopias.
