Dammar resin, also known as cat’s-eye resin, emits a light, airy, lemony scent, with sweet joyful undertones. A milky, pale resin which releases a light scent when burnt, dammar is believed to lift the spirit and bring light to the psyche. Ritual practitioners consider this resin to have strengthening, cleansing, and purifying abilities.
